Word of the Week: Spumescent

Stuart Henry wrote a piece for the September 15th 1915 publication of Greenwich Village titled "Madame Bernheardt: A Visit to Her Home in Paris". Of actress Sarah Bernheardt he said:

Spumescent, as you by now have surmised, means frothy or foamy... of little substance.

I think it is a delightful word and I hope you get a chance to use it too!
