Word of the Week: Réchauffé

While it's true that I love odd sounding words, sometimes enough is enough!

Réchauffé (n.) (resh-oh-fay) is simply a fancy word for reheated leftovers. If you've brought lunch to work, feel free to tell people it's 'réchauffé' instead of 'last night's tuna casserole'. But also... maybe don't bring tuna casserole to places where other people also need to breathe or exist.

I will offer a PSA though. With second day pizza, either eat it cold or use a cast iron skillet when reheating it. Put the heat on low and cover it.... you'll end up with a crispy bottom and a melty top!

Go forth and eat those leftovers!
