I wanted to kick off with the word pulchritudinous. I love this adjective because it sounds a bit clunky and awkward (pul-kri-TUDE-in-us) but it is actually another way to say 'beautiful' or 'attractive'.
Pulchritudinous is derived from the Latin pulchre, from which we also get pulchritude. It's also worth mentioning that this adjective is usually used to describe the beauty of a person as opposed to a flower, a building, or a landscape.
One is more likely to comment on the pulchritude of Angelina Jolie than they are to suggest that a pair of shoes is pulchritudinous! If you do use it to describe something non-human though, I won't tell a soul.
I hope you have fun with this word. Share it with your friends in use of via this post and let me know what you think deserves to be described in this way!
Best,
