So the technical definition of the collywobbles is just a stomachache, but I learned it as a the stomachache caused as a direct result of eating too many sweets! With Easter coming up, and with the increased amount of time in proximity to snacks at home, I thought it would be a good idea to have a word for that particular sensation. Unfortunately, it comes upon me much earlier than it used to. I miss the days of reckless sugar consumption!
What are some of your favorite seasonal treats? Mom and I just ritually bit the heads off a few Peeps, as is tradition, and that straight shot of sugar-covered marshmallow was more than enough.
