Word of the Week: Carouse

Writer's picture: Carrianne DillonCarrianne Dillon

I'll admit to a fairly intimate knowledge of this word in my time, when responsibilities were few and friends were enablers. Now though, I enjoy the word itself more than the enacting of it!

To carouse (ka-rowze) means to partake (excessively) of liquor and engage in drunken revels. In general, dissolute behavior! There's definitely a time and a place for such a thing, and with St. Patrick's Day coming up make sure you pick friends who will NOT leave your hedonistic self behind.

CHEERS to good times and okay choices!
